Fall 2022 MAT225 Lecture 201:
Lecture 201, last week on Wednesday 9/28/2022, was all about Partial Differentiation! We discovered how to calculate fx, fxx, fxy, fy, fyy and fyx given any multivariate function f(x,y). We also found that the mixed partials fxy=fyx. Last, but not least, we played around with the Second Partials Test for Optimization!
This week we only had the one lecture as we were off on Monday for Rosh Hashanah. Next week we will continue our work on Partial Derivatives in Chapter 15 on Monday and we're off on Wednesday for Yom Kippur!
