MAT225: Week03 of Unit02 preTEST2A & TEST2B!
Dear Students, (Week03 of Unit02)
Earlier this week, Tuesday March 2nd, we reviewed preTEST2A (preTEST2A Solved). Today, March 4th, you are completing TEST2B on CHAP15: Partial Derivatives. Don't forget you can use our preTEST2A and your favorite Graphing Calculator or SAGE during the test to help you complete it on time! Please download and print the test to complete traditionally with pencil and paper, then make a pdf of your work with CamScanner. Alternatively, you could use Squid to mark up the test pdf you downloaded directly on your tablet using a stylus. In either case you can email me your solutions as a pdf right after class tonight. Make sure your solutions are easily legible!
Congratulations, this is our halfway mark for the content of the course as you now have 3 of your 6 test grades: TEST1B (CHAP13/CHAP14: Vectors & Matrices), TEST2B (CHAP15: Partial Derivatives) and TEST6 (Attendance). TEST6 grade is, of course, subject to change. I will update it after each test day. You all started with 100 points on TEST6 and most of you still have 100 points or close to it. Good job, keep it up! Please check your grades on BlackBoard.
After this week we have UNIT03 on CHAP16: Iterated Integrals (Partial Derivatives in reverse). Then we have UNIT04 on CHAP17: The Great Theorems (both forms of Green's, Divergence and Stoke's applying what we've learned from CHAP13-CHAP16). Then we have our Final (preTEST5A Review, TEST5B Final).
Don't forget to check the Syllabus if you need to check our schedule. For example, did you remember that we don't meet Tuesday March 9th as you have your Evening Activity Hour?
