We completed our 5th and final week of new material. We had our 5th test today, good luck and have a great rest of the summer!
We completed our 5th and final week of new material. We had our 5th test today, good luck and have a great rest of the summer!
This week was about CH12-14: Vectors, Sequences and Conics. If I had this course to do all over again, I'd cover 3 chapters every week. We did so anyway every week except the second week. That way I could add a chapter on systems of equations and matrices at the end. This text does not do a good job with matrices, I'm afraid!
We also had YouTube Tuesday and YouTube Wednesday again! We watched Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye talk about asteroids on Tuesday previewing conic sections. Wednesday, we watched Carl Sagan talk about Astronomy! We only had 4 YouTube Tuesdays these past 5 weeks. If I had done another one, I would probably go back to talking about Grace Murray Hopper and Ada Lovelace.
