Fall 2022 MAT225 Lectures 301 & 302:
Lecture 301, this week on Monday 10/24/2022, was about Iterated Integrals as definite integrals nested one inside the other. We worked on several examples calculating area and volume in terms of the area elements: dxdy, dydx and rdrdtheta.
Lecture 302, this week on Wednesday 10/26/2022, extended the idea of Iterated Integrals to include density and surface area calculations. These ideas will lead in to Line and Surface Integrals.
It goes without saying that we coded in Jupyter Notebooks using Markdown and Latex to anotate our work as well as Python and Sympy to check our work!
Next week we will learn about Line Integrals on Monday 10/31/2022 and have our UNIT03 HomeWork Clinic on Wednesday 11/02/2022 .
