Teaching Math 5HBC: Staring Unit 8!
AP Calculus BC started Unit 8 this week. We talked about derivatives and antiderivatives involving arcsin(x) and arctan(x)! So, now we know all the "quotient rules" for integration including ln(x). We also talked about L'Hopital's rule for indeterminate forms such as 0/0, inf/inf, inf-inf, 0*inf and inf^1! Last, but not least, we started talking about Integration by Parts! It's like a "product rule" for antidifferentiation.
We have a new MCQ Monday next week. We reviewed our first BC Part IA!
