Calculus BC 2015-2016 April
UNIT12 was all about Vector and Polar Notation. We started by defining trajectories parametrically and finding the arc length of said paths as well as slopes of tangents lines along the curve. Then we extended parametric, aka vector notation, to polar coordinates. We found slope, area and arc length using polar coordinates too.
In addition, we just finished 3 whole weeks of AP Review. This review was great! We never get so much review time. We had several MCQ Mondays and FRQ Fridays and went over a lot of stuff on AP-Central. Now it's Spring Break already. The students are SO well prepared for the AP Exam the week after Spring Break, I think that their whole families are ready for the exam!
This is our last post for this class for this year. If we do anything different during our final project, we may have a new Life After Calculus BlogSpot thread and YouTube playlist coming soon!
